Tennessee Senate Bill 15 (Update)

I wrote a post a few weeks ago on Senate Bill 15 that was introduced at the beginning of January. It would make illegal the consumption of the raw milk produced by an animal by anyone owning a partial share of that animal, effectively illegalizing herd shares.

As of 1/9/2019, it has been passed on second consideration, and held on desk pending committee appointments.

Now is the time to write to state legislation and oppose the passing of this bill.

Click this link for updates and to read the bill in it’s entirety.

Contact Senator Briggs in the following ways to let him know the detriment of this bill:

Above all, any communication with our governmental officials should be done with the utmost decency and respect of their office. The best way to be heard is to be civil in disagreement.
