I thought I’d share a list of all the stuff I’ve been able to do with the time I used To spend handwashing my dishes. Some of you may get a kick out of this, others may not. All I’m saying is, give a homesteader 2 extra hours a day, and WATCH OUT!
Finish knitting my 1st pair of socks
Make my oldest some new jammies with thrifted flannel. Kid is growing WAY too fast.
Catch up on Latin lessons
Pop some banana bread into the new bread machine

Lift some weights
Have a cup of tea
Do some light reading
Daydream about sheep and goats
Obsess over my presumably pregnant dairy goat
Wind hanks of yarn into balls
Start knitting my 2nd pair of socks
Play with my goofy kids
Spend time in God’s word and in prayer
And all the other things I wanted to do instead of standing at the kitchen sink.
To be fair though, my podcast listening has decreased. Somehow, I’m ok with that.
