Over the last couple weekends, we have focused on hauling mulch. It is a strenuous task because we do it all by hand; shovel the mulch into a cart, pull the cart to the other side of the property, dump the cart, rake the mulch… It takes forever.
That said, on Saturday, we mulched the spots that needed it. Last weekend we dug out another terrace, and are working on getting it all leveled out and mulched.
We also mulched around the raspberry bushes against the fence line. It really does look much nicer.
Things are coming along!
We’re putting in the work now and looking forward to reaping the benefits next spring/summer.
