Our dining room needed some love. Some affordable love. By affordable, I mean mostly free.
So, I got out some paint left over from the living room and finally painted as I had intended to 2 years ago when we moved in.

And then, to update the weird lightswitch covers, we spent about $6 on a can of spray paint to give the room some copper accents.
I’m actually really pleased with how they turned out.

I will post pictures once I get the trim completely finished. But it is amazing to me how much a difference a few coats of paint make in that space.
It’s so cool to finally see our personalities and “style” manifest in our home. I’ve dubbed it “Steam-punk rustic cottage” which, believe it or not, is actually a thing. I googled it.
Next up: trim and window treatments!!
